Veronica & Piper's Apartment - Wednesday All Day

The last week had been insane - in both good and bad ways. Veronica had gained a temporary roommate, spent a weekend in Vegas with her boyfriend and worried as her best friend and a bunch of other people took a trip to hell to kill another friend.

As a result, Veronica had done her typical Veronica thing and avoided talking to anyone for a few days. But, being that it was Valentine's Day and that she had some conversations she needed to have, she had to stop avoiding people and get on the phone.



[ooc: okay - I know there are several people who wanted to talk to V. She has two outgoing calls to make, but this post is open for incoming calls or conversations with Piper & Cal. Just please use my minor OCD to keep things straight in my head.]

"She's so fixated it all comes back to Angel when you try to talk to her. Gahhh." Parker popped a candy rose in her mouth, and growled. "But if she's not getting in trouble, maybe a little more time will help. I asked her to get out in the next few days. Distract herself. I hope she's not in you and Piper's way?"

"No, not at all," Veronica assured her. "I'll try to get her to go somewhere with me. Things have just been kind of nuts since she got here. You heard about Bel, right?"

"Yes, I did, from a couple people. They're all pretty shook up. How's Piper doing? Is she with Phoebe?"

"Piper's here. I think Phoebe's at home. She hasn't really talked much," Veronica said. "I was giving her some space."

"I'll bet. There really isn't enough time or words for this, is there." Parker sighed. "I'm so sad for everyone else. And mad on top of it. Bel wasn't exactly a friend, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone, and I know how hard he was trying." She rubbed her temples. "Rotten week."

"Yeah, no kidding," Veronica agreed. "Well, it wasn't totally rotten. Cam and I spent the weekend in Vegas. Thanks, by the way. We used those Cirque du Soleil tickets you gave him for Christmas."

"You did? I'm glad. You're welcome, I'm happy you guys had fun." She smiled a little. "If he can't be there for Valentine's Day, I'm glad you guys got your fun in early."

"We definitely did that," Veronica said. "What about you? Any exciting holiday plans?"

"Aside from a bet with myself that Weiss forgot entirely?" Parker grinned. "Nope. Oh, hey. Uh. I'm dating Weiss, by the way."

"The guy from New Years? Nice," Veronica said. "Good luck with that."

"Yeah. It is." Parker grinned, then shook her head. "Look, give me a call if you need help with Cal. I'm checking in with her again on Friday, and probably every couple days, but you don't have to handle her on your own if she goes off the deep end again. Works?"

"Definitely. And I'll try to get her out of the apartment and interested in something other than brooding about Angel," Veronica said. "I'll keep you posted."
