Lana had the afternoon free, so she decided it was high time she made a couple of phone calls. First she gave Ino a call.

Then she placed another to someone a lot farther away.

And much later called Ino again.

Wyatt was lying on his bed, idly flipping through the channels on the TV. He glanced at the phone on his desk. Normally, he'd call Isabel, but lately every time he tried to talk to her she was short and cranky with him. He dared not suggest PMS for fear that she would somehow alien-fu her way through the phone line and strangle him, and so he had given up for now, hoping whatever it was would pass soon.
