The Den of Evilness, Tuesday Afternoon

Piper knew her prank was set in motion. She was a bit surprised the boys haven't called to flail at her yet. She thought about calling them to make sure they were okay, but then she remembered what they had done a few weeks ago and knew they needed to be taught a lesson.

Right now, she was sitting on the couch, contemplating a nap before she had to go to work.

"I...didn't mean for it to happen," Piper said, frowning slightly. She was starting to feel guilty.

She sighed, deciding they were freaked out enough. "I'm not pregnant," she finally confessed.

There was complete silence as the brothers looked at each other.

"You're not?" Chris repeated, unsure if he had heard correctly.

"The test was wrong?" Wyatt asked hopefully.

"There was never a test," Piper sighed. "I was just messing with you."

Wyatt stared at the phone. "Huh?"

"I was trying to get back at you for that little stunt you pulled a few weeks ago," Piper said. "And don't even pretend you don't know what I'm talking about."

Chris's jaw dropped. "Uh... how'd you find out that was us?" he asked lamely.

"We didn't . . . we, um, we . . . frak," Wyatt muttered.

"I'm sorry about what I did," Piper said sincerely. "But you two can't keep doing this. You can't decide who I should be with. I get to make those decisions."

"I'm sorry," Chris apologized immediately. "It's just... we want you to be happy."

"And we want to be born!" Wyatt said.

"I know you don't want to hear this, but I am happy. Lindsey makes me happy," Piper said quietly. She turned her attention to Wyatt's comment. "You might still be born, just not now. I'm only nineteen. I'm not ready to be a mom."

She looked down sadly. She didn't want to hurt them, but it was something they needed to hear.

"And you weren't this young when you had us anyway," Chris realized. "It's just weird for us to think of you dating anyone but dad."

"I guess you're right," Wyatt said reluctantly. "Maybe we're not supposed to exist in your world anyway."

"And maybe you are," Piper added. "Anything is possible."

"And we shouldn't meddle in it," Chris sighed. "We just need to let whatever is supposed to happen happen."

"Yeah," Wyatt said, staring unhappily at the floor.

"I think that's for the best," Piper added.

"Well, um, I'm glad you're okay, but I guess we should let you go," Chris said.

"Yeah," Wyatt said. "And worry more about our own world now."

"You can still keep in touch with me...if you want," Piper told them. "So, guess I'll talk to you later."
