Veronica got back from her final, feeling pretty good about the job she had done, and finally checked her voicemail.

And blinked A LOT.

After a few minutes, she finally dialed Cameron's number.

Yes, Veronica was actually awake and out of bed. She was working on her final research paper for one of her classes. And maybe surfing the web looking for prom dresses for next weekend.

Sunday morning meant sleeping in.

Except when you had a boyfriend on the East Coast that completely failed at the concept of timezones.

Veronica had been so busy with everything that was going on that she had almost forgotten spring break was next week.

So here she was, calling Cameron, to see if he was going to visit during the break.

The last week had been insane - in both good and bad ways. Veronica had gained a temporary roommate, spent a weekend in Vegas with her boyfriend and worried as her best friend and a bunch of other people took a trip to hell to kill another friend.

As a result, Veronica had done her typical Veronica thing and avoided talking to anyone for a few days. But, being that it was Valentine's Day and that she had some conversations she needed to have, she had to stop avoiding people and get on the phone.

[ooc: okay - I know there are several people who wanted to talk to V. She has two outgoing calls to make, but this post is open for incoming calls or conversations with Piper & Cal. Just please use my minor OCD to keep things straight in my head.]

Callisto was back in the hospital. Since there wasn't anything to do except stare at the walls, sleep, and avoid answering those mindless questions, she was currently trying to sleep.

Veronica was in a marginally better mood than yesterday (two bags of dark chocolate caramels helped a lot).

She was, however, rather concerned that she hadn't heard from Cameron yet. Someone would have called her if he had completely disappeared, right? At least Xander wasn't in Fandom (that she knew of, at least), since he was always the one that called her with bad news.

To pass the time, she was reading some community she'd stumbled across online where they made fun of people who got all drama queeny about TV shows and stuff.

Veronica was in a really bad mood.

First there was the whole thing with Bel being the Source of all Evil and trying to kill her and all her friends. Then she went to Journalism class and her professor had ripped her article to shreds and was making her re-write it by tomorrow. She had to study for an exam in her Algebra class. And to top it all off, she had the worst PMS on the planet.

She was lying on her bed, eating dark chocolate caramels and grumbling under her breath as she re-wrote her article. It was probably a really good thing she wasn't a witch like Piper, or she'd be cursing everyone.

[mostly for Cameron, but if anyone really wants to talk to pissy!V, feel free to call. *is in no way inflicting my own personal issues on my character*]

After getting two disturbing voicemails and checking her email, Veronica was a tiny bit flaily.

Okay, a lot flaily. She and Piper had talked about strengthening the protections on the apartment and about what their next steps should be.

She called Cameron and got his voicemail. She knew she should call other people to check in, but she just didn't have the energy. So she was playing Spider Solitaire on her computer and wondering what the hell had gone wrong.

[ooc: for Cameron, please. If others would like to talk to V at some point, please ping or email me to set something up. I'm rather swamped with RP this week. Thanks!]

Veronica was sitting on her bed, surfing the internet for an interesting news story for her journalism class.

It was early. Veronica was sleeping.

Her phone, as always, was next to her bed.

One of these days, you think she'd learn that Cameron had no concept of time zones. Today was clearly not that day.

[primarily for Cam to call and fill V in on Cally's attack - however, if anyone else wants to call V, that's fine as long as it's after Cam and if the roomie wants a convo, that's fine too]

After her late class, Veronica headed over to the student union to meet up with Piper. She had a message saying that Piper was running late due to traffic, so she decided to go ahead and order her food since she had missed lunch. She took her tray to a table and sat down, pulling out the syllabus for her class so she could look over it.

Opening her sandwich, she discovered that they had screwed up her order and she left her things on the table while she went up to get her sandwich fixed. A few minutes later she was back and happily eating.

Veronica finished her syllabus, her sandwich and most of her soda and there was still no sign of Piper. Concerned, she bent down to pull her phone out of her bag and started to feel light-headed. Her call forgotten, she sat up and gripped the edge of the table to steady herself. The dizziness seemed to pass, but she was suddenly feeling very warm and a little sleepy. She picked up her bag, put her syllabus away and decided to go outside for some fresh air.

The dizziness returned as she was walking and she decided she should find somewhere to sit down while she waited. Realizing that it was starting to get dark, she headed for her car and figured she'd call Piper once she got there.

She was staggering by the time she hit the garage and she finally started to realize that something was terribly wrong. She managed to pull her keys out of her purse and she was almost to the car when someone hit her from behind. As she was falling, she managed to hit the alarm button and the last conscious thought she had was that she had been drugged.

Veronica had finally finished unpacking her belongings and was sprawled out on her bed, reading the info for the classes she was taking this semester.

[ooc: for Cally; if anyone else wants to call V, poke me on AIM first.]

Angel wasn't looking forward to this, but he needed information. If that meant being yelled at by Parker, so be it.

Angel dialed his Blackberry and braced himself for the worst.

Veronica was working on her final paper for her Lit class. She was glad it was almost the end of the semester. Her upcoming break was not coming fast enough to suit her.

Bored with studying, Veronica pushed her books aside and leaned back against her pillows. Her Christmas shopping was done and she was looking forward to spending a week at Angel's, but ever since her phone conversations with Nadia and Cameron the other day, she'd had something else on her mind.

Deciding to take a risk, she picked up her phone and scrolled through the phone book, looking for a number near the top.

The decorations were up. Sean was wearing a Santa hat. Angel had a list and was checking it twice.

Someone had been neither naughty nor nice. They hadn't replied at all.

Angel decided to make a phone call.

Dropping the stake, Callisto wiped the dust off her face. Stupid vampires.

Not that she had to be doing this, no one had ordered her to, but it beat getting drunk, again.

Without quite quite making a decision to do it, Callisto pulled her phone out and dialed a number.
