No pictures this time, sorry boys.
First week of classes went well. I like all my professors and the classes seem like they'll be interesting. I joined the newspaper staff as a photographer and so far no one has asked me to solve any cases. I'm trying to decide if I should get a job at the local coffee shop or if I should do freelance photography for the local paper. Luckily I managed to save a decent amount between teaching and working at Caritas this summer.
My roommate is pretty cool. Her dad is some sort of government agent and she's been kidnapped a few times, so we've bonded over that. She dragged me out on a double date with a couple of frat boys the other night. It wasn't too bad. It's been a while since I was on a date with a relative stranger. I'm fighting the urge to run a background check if he asks me out again.
I hope you're all well. Has there been an invasion yet? Write me back, I miss you all!
Love, V

Yeah. We both suspected that was going to be the case so we had time to prepare for it. And it's for the best for him. We can pass messages occasionally so I know he's okay. Better than if he'd gone back to his own time. And he's doing what he loves.

It's awkward but fun. You should totally get out and meet people. I know you spent most of the summer hiding in your dorm room. There are some really great guys in Fandom.

As for interesting new kids, there's Agnes, she's a witch, but not like Piper and Phoebe. Then there's Ray who's... Ray. And Door, who's really nice and apparently from someplace kinda rough, I think. And Pete. Who will probably be the first victim of that tazer you gave me.

I think I'm glad they're not in my dimension either, though Logan will have to be back in yours next week-- court date for the estate. Hopefully he'll stop by and say hi. And... yeah. I think it's a monumentally stupid idea, but what why would Captain Blockhead listen to me?

Yup. Bridge says his dimension won't be getting e-mail for-- well, several years. Or phone messages. It sucks. I'm writing him anyway, just on the off-chance something gets through.

Stoic, from what I've seen. We haven't really talked about it, but she's obviously hurting. I think she's taken Luke on as an unofficial Little Brother, from stuff he's said. Maybe that helps, I hope.

Hey Veronica,
Sorry I didn't drop you a line after your last note. Things have been crazy busy here. Good crazy busy, but still.
Good luck with all the photography stuff.
Sorry about Archie. I'm guessing if you can only pass on messages on occasion that he's not there with you. I'm really sorry to hear that. And the whole, sometimes you can be in touch, sometimes not? Totally sucks. And I speak as one who's been doing that since February.
But it gets easier. And good for you going out on a double date! Though, yeah, given the whole agent/kidnapped thing, you might want to check out anyone your roommate fixes you up with.
I actually met someone. A really nice someone. Things seem to be going really well. It would be nice to catch a break, you know?
Anyway, glad to hear from you. I miss you.

Don't worry about it. I feel bad that I haven't had time to do individual emails, but beginning of semester insanity is everywhere :)

Thanks. *hugs* We had an idea it was going to go this way and were able to prepare for it mentally. But, yeah, it's hard.

Good! Anyone I know? Tell him if he hurts you, me and my taser will be more than happy to have a conversation with him.
Miss you too! Take care,

He's one of the new students. His name is Jim and so many people have already threatened him that he's started a list on his door to save time.
I'll add your name. ;)
Talk to you later!
