Logan hooked up his earphone and dialed Parker's number as soon as they were in the car, leaving his hands free so he could keep pressure on the wound in his shoulder.

Parker checked the caller ID and took a breath before it even connected. "Logan you have to get out of the Hyperion--"

As soon as the phone connected, Logan said, "Bel's evil," without even waiting to hear what Parker said.

"YES!" Parker shouted, then took a breath. "Sorry. I've spent most of the last twenty-four hours completely silent thanks to that sonuvabitch, I'm overcompensating."

Logan laughed weakly. "That why y' left those weird messages?"

"I couldn't even type, or write, or gesture, or mouth the words about what was going on, neither could Isabel-- Oh god, are you okay? He was there, wasn't he?"

Angel finished leaving messages for Veronica (http://community.livejournal.com/fh_alumni/15106.html?thread=1613826#t1613826), Marty (http://oatmanspatient.livejournal.com/1141.html?view=1538933#t1538933), and Phoebe (http://future-visions.livejournal.com/2573.html?view=1644557#t1644557) and then listened in to Logan's conversation with Parker.

"If he hurt Isabel I'm gonna do interesting things to his lungs," Angel commented.

"Isabel's fine," Parker responded over the phone. "He pulled the same thing on both of us, knocked us out for about twelve hours and change, and left us totally unable to communicate. One of the telepaths had to tell her friend the wizard what was wrong with us. Angel's alive and he's not Angelus! Awesome!"

"Isabel's fine," Logan relayed, although Angel's vampire hearing had probably picked that up. "Angel's fine. 'M alive."

"You're hurt." Parker's voice went flat. "Shit. How badly?"

"Shoulder," Logan said. "Hurts, but not dead."

"Angel? Hurt at all? And where did the Source go?" Parker took a breath. "He really wanted Angelus back."

Logan's last bit of energy was fading quickly. He blinked at Parker's rapid questioning, then gave up and handed the phone over to Angel.

"I'm fine," said the vampire who'd had a fire escape fall on him. "Don't know where the Source is. Logan's got a bullet to the shoulder so the second my eye sees the H of hospital this is bye bye Parker conversation."

"He's got a-- Jesus, the King of Understatement! No worries. We left messages for Phoebe and you guys, and we're contacting the school administrators. Chris and Wyatt Halliwell have info on how to stop the Source. As soon as I know more, you will."

"I called Phoebe, Marty, and Veronica," Angel said. "Told 'em to be on the lookout.

"I'm going to be e-mailing the universe, and leaving voice-mails to the other people he's hurt," Parker said. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I couldn't call sooner, I tried, Angel." She took a breath. "Call when you know Logan's definitely okay?"

"You did good, Parker," Angel said. "I'll call when I know."
