Angel's office, Hyperion, Thursday evening

Angel stared at the stack of paperwork on his desk.

The question was not whether he'd try to foist it off on Jaye or Logan. Rather, it was wondering which had better odds of actually doing something with it.

Well, besides make paper airplanes out of it. Much though those had been fun to play with.

Not that Angel would admit that.

Molly had been too distracted all week to remember to call and get things sorted out for her trips to LA. But, Sunday was coming up fast and even though she'd left a handwavey message about having to go home for a week first, she really need to talk to Angel about it.

That is why Angel's phone was ringing now.

The sound of ringing would be why Angel answered it.

"Angel."

"Hi! It's Molly!"

Angel? Big smile. "Molly! Hey! Everything okay?"

"Uh huh! Did you get my message on Monday?"

"Of course I did," Angel said. Which was true. "I'm completely on top of my voice mail." That last part? Not so much.

Molly chuckled. "So, you were able to reschedule the portal okay and everything? I'm sorry about the late notice, by the way. I kind of forgot to tell my friends that I wasn't going to be in Fandom for the rest of the summer until last weekend."

"Absolutely okay," Angel said. "Gave Logan more time to get your room ready."

There was a bit of squeeing from the phone.

"Oh! Before I forget, is it okay if I invite some people to visit me while I'm there? No more than five people, I promise."

"Anybody I know?" Angel asked.

"I don't think so," Molly said. "They all started after you graduated. Dawn Summers you might know a different version of though. The others are Katara, John Sheppard and Karal Austreben."

"Yeah, means nothing," Angel said. "Course I'll expect you all in bed at a reasonable hour and you have to eat your veggies or no dessert."

Molly sighed dramatically. "If you are going to be like that the entire time, I don't know if I want to come visit," she joked.

"Don't blame me," Angel said. "These are Logan's rules. He even has a part here about you drinking milk."

Molly laughed. "Please remind Logan that I am sixteen years old now. Oh. And when should I tell you that one of the guys who is coming to visit is my boyfriend?"

"I don't like him," Angel said, immediately.

Molly laughed. "You haven't even met him yet!"

"I don't have to," Angel said. "He's not good enough for you."

"He's a priest," Molly said.

"No!" Molly said. "He isn't from Earth and it is totally okay for him to date."

Angel totally wasn't listening. "I mean I get nuns but a priest?"

"Angel!" Molly said. "I can hurt you, you know."

"Hey, I'm not the one who's going to hell," Angel replied.

Pause.

"Well not for dating a priest, anyway."

Molly sighed and it was probably obvious she was rolling her eyes. "He. Isn't. From. Earth!" she repeated. "He's not that kind of priest."

"You know guys say lines like that all the time," Angel told her. "If I had a nickel for every time I said I wasn't a priest... or all the times I said I was..."

"Angel! So help me, I will pound you when I get there."

"So I'll see you soon?" Angel asked, ignoring the threat.

"As long as there is no more time travel weirdness, I will be there a week from Sunday," she confirmed.

"Great!" Angel said. "We'll have a party."

"Cool," Molly said, smiling. "I should go. Say hi to Logan and Jaye for me, okay?"

Mr Canute Mimir Fluffypants resents the fact that this telephone call is not for him. Angel never calls any more; he thought their love meant something to both of them. Mr Canute Mimir Fluffypants was sadly mistaken and will remember to guard his heart more carefully next time.
