Hey guys,
I know it's been a while. Longer for me than it has been for you. I managed to get myself stuck for two and a half years. Which explains the new email address as the old one expired. So I'm sorry if you wrote me and I didn't answer.
I'm staying with Sam in Colorado at the moment. I'm going to see about finding a job here so I don't drive her too crazy when I get bored. Though, it might just be too late for that.
So how's everyone doing? From what I've heard already things seem to be going rather well, but tell me more! What did I miss? How is everyone? Any stories to share? Any great Stickbug deeds I missed out on?

((If you think you got an email, then you did (yes, even you principal Washburn).
Cam is not going to tell everyone what happened to him. Mainly because I don't intend to force all of his friends to deal with it unless I know OOC for sure that you're good with it. Secondly because he's frigging stubborn.))

HI HI HI CAM!
Imagine the capital letters are hugs. Seriously, I know you said it would be a while, but, gosh, two and a half years? (Or, fine, ten months?) We should have sent postcards. How was the academy? Did you graduate already? I have no idea how those things work. Say hi to Sam for me, anyhow.
I've been the slacker of all time about sending emails, but I'm good. Almost done with my first year at UNY. Classes are mostly interesting, if not Fandom-interesting, except I suck at French. Thank god this semester is the last I need to fill the requirement.
I just got promoted at my job, which means instead of making coffee, I boss around people who make coffee. I'm sure you're all impressed.
Marty is Marty, so that's still good. Am going to head out to meet him after my shift.
... which I should get to now, so I should quit babbling at you, but it is seriously good to hear from you.

Yeah, I didn't exactly plan on it either. Postcards wouldn't have worked since Fandom was just entirely gone. Even went to Virginia during my first break, but it just wasn't there.
Academy was good. Graduation is normally after your fourth year. I made it through the first two years, but am on a break now. We'll see how it goes.

Eh, who needs French anyway? You can slack, as long as you promise to reply. Kick university ass!

I am! Congrats! I'd drop by to annoy you while you're working, but it might be a bit out of the way. I'm sure floor fights helped perfect your glaring so I'm going to take credit for that one.

I'm glad to hear you guys are still together. Say hi to him for me? Or just make him reply to my email.

You can babble at me any time. And it is good to hear from you again.
Take care and have fun bossing people around!

Gone? Like .... gone, gone?
That's awful. Even if it's only in your world, it's awful. I'm glad it came back.
And you kind of make me want to drive to Virginia, just to check.
>Graduation is normally after your fourth year. I made it through the first two years, but am on a break now. We'll see how it goes.
Cool, have a good break. Sometimes you just need time off to figure out what you want to do.
>I'm sure floor fights helped perfect your glaring so I'm going to take credit for that one.
HA! My sister would claim credit, but you can share the award with her. Floor wars perfected my eyerolls, though.
And yes, portalling to 1998 NYC for coffee might be overkill. Not that I'd discourage it, but overkill anyhow.
>Say hi to him for me? Or just make him reply to my email.
I will do both!
>And it is good to hear from you again.
So much ditto.
You take care too.

Yeah, it just wasn't there. I think you're good, though. I couldn't email or call anyone either, so as long as that works it should still be there.

See? It was good for something! You don't have to thank me.

Just a bit. Especially as I'm s till not crazy about coffee. Maybe lunch would be better?

Eeep. Yeah, that makes me want to call people just to check in. But I heard from you and Jaye this week, so i do think I'm good so far. (And she's sounded fine. Still in L.A.)
>You don't have to thank me.
I really don't, but I will. I'd be such a not-scary boss without glares!

I think getting cut off is luckily more the exception to the rule.
>I really don't, but I will. I'd be such a not-scary boss without glares!
I'm sure you would have found a way to still scare them. I believe in you.

Not wasting any time, huh? Sunday sounds good. Whenever week you're not having too much to do. My schedule is pretty light right now.

This Sunday's bad, but the week after would work for me if you can get a portal out.

Tell the truth, you were in Tibet, living among the monks. I know it's true. Don't even lie.
Not much going on here. I got married. Missed you at the wedding. I would've loved to look better than you in a tux.
Massachusetts is finally warming up. College is hard.

Yes, I even shaved my head and learned to chant. Buddhism is actually pretty cool.
I heard about the wedding. Congratulations, man. I'm sorry I missed out on it. I owe you guys a wedding gift. Anything in particular that you can use?
Dream on, I'll always look hotter than you, pudgy. Especially now that I'm bald.
You're smart, you can kick college ass.

Cameron,
I'm glad to hear that you're doing well in Colorado. If you need any kind of personal reference in finding a job, be sure to give your employers my name so I can tell them all sorts of nice things about you.
Things are going well in town, now that there are no longer strange angel statues sending people into the past. Just when I thought I'd seen everything strange that could happen here...I think it's safe to say you left at a good time, to not have to deal with that. I want to say that the town is quiet now, but I'm afraid I'll jinx things.
As for Stickbug deeds, I'm sure you'll be proud to know that your compatriots have been making sure their presence is still known. I don't suppose you have any need for a disco ball in your new residence? I have one from my office that I'd be happy to send you.

Ma'am!
I missed out on an invasion? I'm sorry I wasn't there to help and I hope you are all doing well. Grace too. Can she say my name yet? I expect a phonecall when she does!
Thank you for the offer, I might just take you up on it. Sam's been able to arrange some papers for me, but a reference can do a lot. I still haven't really figured out what I want to do, but something in between to keep me busy is a start.
I'll ask Sam about the disco ball. You should enjoy it, though. Disco can be fun to dance to. All I can say is that I'm proud of my Stickbug brethren.

It isn't a bad thing to miss out on an invasion. We're all doing well now, though. Thankfully, no one got hurt. Grace is still working on turning her babbles into recognizable words, but I'll make sure that if any of those words is your name, you'll hear about it.
My office is decorated just the way I like it, so I have no need for the disco ball. I suppose you should be proud of their antics though. I don't know what I'm going to do when all the Stickbugs have graduated. Things will be so much quieter around here.

Maybe, I don't think I'm the type who wants to miss out on the fighting. I'm glad to hear everyone is alright, though.
I'm sure Grace will be talking pretty soon, she's as smart as her mother after all.
Personally, I think you'll be very bored. The school wouldn't be the same without any Stickbugs around. We'll just have to come by and prank you all so you won't have to miss us too much.

Holy frak, Mitchell!
Dude, it's good to hear from you. It's been forever. Glad to hear you're still around, even with that getting stuck thing.
Can't believe I'm graduating this year. That's still really surreal. You've probably heard about the angel statues from people already, so I'll leave that to people who actually knew more about what was going on. Mostly I just played bait to help get rid of them.
Other than that everything's pretty much typical around here. Well, I guess a weird invasion counts as typical by now too, huh?
I'm doing good myself. Probably heading to community college in the fall while I see what I can do about getting into a good baseball school or get a spring training invite somehow. Wish me luck, okay?
Take care of yourself, Mitchell. It really is good to hear from you again.

I know. It's felt like forever. It's hard to believe it's only been ten months for you guys. Which of course, isn't that short of a time, but still.

I heard. I hope you didn't get snatched up then as bait. I'm sorry I missed the fun. I was at Fandom for a few days a few weeks ago, but I think I must have missed you.
>Other than that everything's pretty much typical around here. Well, I guess a weird invasion counts as typical by now too, huh?
As long as they're just weird and nothing too dangerous, I suppose it's not too bad a thing. I miss the tiny bunnies.
>I'm doing good myself. Probably heading to community college in the fall while I see what I can do about getting into a good baseball school or get a spring training invite somehow. Wish me luck, okay?
I'll wish you luck, but you don't need it, man. Let me know how it goes? It sounds like a good plan. I expect to get an invite to your first game, by the way. Just so we're clear.
>Take care of yourself, Mitchell. It really is good to hear from you again.

Dude, don't confuse me more. Trying to figure out which of my friends got stuck in the past for how long and how old they really are now is hard enough!
>I heard. I hope you didn't get snatched up then as bait. I'm sorry I missed the fun. I was at Fandom for a few days a few weeks ago, but I think I must have missed you.
Nah, I was okay, but it was pretty frakkin' close there a few times. Wait, you were here and I missed you? Figures. Does it help to know that sometimes I'm still clueless?
>I miss the tiny bunnies.
Aw, the bunnies. We had marshmallow ones come to life and run all over the place yesterday. It was kinda cute, even if it made my teeth hurt just looking at them. If I'd known I might've sent you a few.

Mitchell, I mean this seriously. That means a lot. Thanks, and I'll make sure there's a pair of comps waiting for you at the box office on opening day.
>And let me know if there's an invasion so I can come help!
Sure will. Can't have all the fun without you, right?

Hi Cam,
I'm glad to hear you're settling in. A job would be cool. It'll keep you from having too much time on your hands and getting into trouble. Not that you'd do anything like that.
I got accepted at Cornell, which was the other college I was interested in. Right now I'm trying to decide between there and UNLV. I'll admit, UNLV has the edge at the moment because relatively speaking, it's closer to Roswell and other people. Not that it really matters since Wyatt can orb, but still, I think I'm a desert girl at heart.
There's been weirdness here. Fandom weirdness and some alien weirdness. But we coped and I guess that's all that matters.
Right now Wyatt's coping with a droid baby for Anakin's Ethics class. I've been drafted to be the mommy which is kind of entertaining. I can say that it's enough to make me put off having kids for quite a few years though.
Anyway, that's what's happening in my life.
I hope you're doing okay.

Two years and a half years? Wow, that sucks. Cognitive dissonance again. I'm glad you're back in radio contact (although not literally, or I'd be hearing squirrel reports on my iPod).
At the moment, I'm on break between semesters in England, working at my dad's company. Zero was here last week, so I took off and we had fun in various places (and no, we did not end up in jail... this time). I swear those stones at Stonehenge looked like that when we got there. A couple more people are planning to come out before the end of my break in April, but otherwise, nothing exciting except avoiding killing co-workers. Always a challenge.
So, did you graduate in those two years? Or are you on break from school? What kind of job are you looking for? Get to fly anything yet?
Tell Sam I said hi, write back when you can--
Parker
