A little worried by the contents of Veronica's email, Angel decided to call her to see what exactly was up.

"That I can do," Angel said. "Anything else? How's everyone over there who isn't Bel?"

"So far, so good," Veronica said. "All the new kids seem to be adjusting pretty well, but there hasn't been an invasion yet."

"Ten bucks says dragons."

"Cameron thinks it'll be jello dragons. And if it is, I think I may have agreed to jello wrestle in the remains after we kick ass."

"What day is that again?" Angel asked. "I'll make sure I'm free."

"I'll call and let you know," Veronica deadpanned. "Cameron did agree to teach me how to fight though," she added.

"By asking Aeryn to do it for him?"

"Teach you how to fight."

"Why would he offer to teach me how to fight and ask Aeryn to do it?" Veronica asked, obviously confused.

"Nothing," Angel said. "Guy humor. I was trying to kid like Cam doesn't know how to fight at all. This... probably goes to show that Logan's right when he says I need to learn how to be funny. Don't tell him I admitted that."

"Your secret is safe with me," Veronica promised.

"So everybody else is okay?" Angel asked. "You know, for Fandom?"

"Well, last time I saw him, Bridge was a ferret. And Pip is a gosling," Veronica shared.

"Normal for Fandom, got it," Angel said. "Okay. Say hi for me, especially to Cal and Rory. I'll try to get Bel on the phone and talk some sense into him."

"I can do that," Veronica said. "And when you talk to Bel? Try to keep my name out of it. We've actually been getting along."
